Stuɗıo CHD was launched in 2021 with the endeavour of continuing and furthering the legacy of craft & design that was born during the planning and conception of the global modernist city of Chandigarh. The continued significance of the now iconic furniture that was produced for the various buildings of Chandigarh stands as testimony to the enduring quality of the designs. Through our renditions of the original furniture we hope to sustain and develop a vibrant culture of artisans, designers and craftsmen. We strive to stay true to the original design ideology, materials and production, while continuing to research the vast design vocabulary of Chandigarh. We hope to not only keep this tradition of making alive but to continually reinterpret and reinvent it. All products are handmade in Chandigarh, with the utmost attention to detail while ensuring the highest quality of raw materials and production.
