    The Niwar Chair was designed for living rooms and bedrooms, famously photographed in Pierre Jeanneret's residence in Chandigarh. It is constructed using tapered legs and frame connected by lap joints and cylindrical cross bars which double as support for the cotton niwar seat. The back is constructed with cotton cord. Originally, a variant in bamboo was also made.
